| Termination of Frequent Flyer Program with Continental Airline (CO) |
Effective from Jan.01, 2012, EVA Air will cease the bilateral cooperation of Frequent Flyer Program with Continental Airline (CO). From then on, mileage accrual and award ticket for travel on Continental Airline flights will be suspended. Retro-claim for flight mileage departing on/before Dec.31, 2011 will be accepted if ticket receipts and boarding passes together with membership numbers are provided within 6 months of the date you have flown. Those award tickets issued on/before Dec.31, 2011 will be honored and journey need to be completed within the ticket validity.

- Effective Nov.01, 2011:
Diamond Card members traveling with EVA Air to Bangkok can enjoy the Bangkok Airport Fast Track Service. In addition, Silver Card members traveling with EVA Air or UNI Air international flights can enjoy a wait-list priority for fully-booked flights upon airport check-in.
- Effective Jan.01, 2012:
Gold Card members (who have possessed a consecutive 8-year membership) who upgrade to Diamond Card status will not receive the four (4) complimentary electronic upgrade certificates that were available in the past.
- Effective Jul.01, 2013:
We will no longer upgrade Gold Card members (who have held a consecutive 8-year membership) to Diamond Card membership.

The Evergreen Club will send mileage statements each month or every six months in January and July to members who have earned or used mileage or upgrade certificate since their last statement was prepared. The statement shows the balance and expiry date of the mileage and upgrade certificates. Please be reminded that the mileage which you earned in 2007 will expire on Dec.31, 2011. | EVA to Fly into JFK-Passenger Services Relocated from Newark |
EVA Air will be serving East Coast travelers with flights to and from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), effective on and after Oct.31, 2011. The airline is relocating passenger services from Newark International Airport to JFK’s Terminal One. It’s also introducing courtesy shuttle service for passengers to and from JFK and East Hanover Township, Piscataway Township, Jersey City and Fort Lee in New Jersey. Effective from Mar. 27, 2011, EVA Air is initiating code-shared service with All Nippon on some Japan domestic flights operated by All Nippon. Evergreen Club members holding ticket issued with EVA Air’s flight number or All Nippon’s flight number with C/Y booking class code can enjoy the bonus mileage accumulation on the code-shared flights. The bonus mileage cannot be included for membership card tier while upgrade and renewal. | EVA/UNI Air Team Up with Shandong Air/Hainan Air/Xiamen Air to Increase China Service |
Effective now, EVA Air and UNI Air are initiating code-shared service between Taiwan and China with Shandong Air and Hainan Air. Routes from the new shared services include Taoyuan-Guangzhou, Taoyuan-Dalian, Taoyuan-Qingdao. In addition, from May 1, 2011, UNI Air will code-shared with Xiamen Air of Taipei/Sungshan-Xiamen, Taichung-Xiamen, Taoyuan-Fuzhou, Kaohsiung-Fuzhou routes. The code-shared service is making business travel significantly more convenient and giving leisure travelers new options for connecting flights. Please be reminded that the club benefits, mileage accumulation, upgrade award and ticket award are limited to members issuing EVA/UNI Air tickets and the flights are operated by EVA/UNI Air only.
