 | EVA Air Provides Check-in Counter Service at THSR Taoyuan Station |
EVA Airways will commence operation of its check-in counter service at the Taiwan High-Speed Rail (THSR) Taoyuan Station on March 01 2010. Passengers who fly with us can complete their check-in procedures, including baggage check-in and boarding pass print-out at the THSR Taoyuan Station, which means passengers no longer need to carry any check-in baggage from THSR Taoyuan Station to Taoyuan International Airport.
Tips of using THSR check-in service:
1. Location: at the Taiwan High-Speed Rail (THSR) Taoyuan Station Lobby level;
between EXIT 6 and 7
2. Service hours: daily 07:00 - 22:00
3. Service deadline: 90 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time
4. Applicable for passengers who travel EVA Air and UNI Air International flights,
including Marketing Carrier of our code-sharing partners. |

From Jan.10, 2010, EVA Air’s Hong Kong VIP Lounge has been relocated to The Travelers’ Lounge. The new VIP Lounge is located at 6F, near boarding gate No.1. Members who are eligible to access new VIP Lounge when traveling with EVA Air may enjoy the facilities and services at The Travelers’ Lounge in Hong Kong International Airport.

From Jan.01, 2010, EVA Air’s Newark VIP Lounge has been changed from British Airways Lounge to Jet Airways Lounge. The new VIP Lounge is located at the 2nd floor, International Arrival level by Door No.11. Members who are eligible to access new VIP Lounge when traveling with EVA Air may enjoy the facilities and services at Jet Airways Lounge in Newark International Airport.

From Mar.29, 2010, EVA Air will launch direct passenger flights service between Taipei-Toronto by using Boeing 777-300ERs. This new service offers our members more flexibility and choice to redeem award tickets and upgrades. EVA Air and UNI Air have launched scheduled flight service between Taiwan and Mainland China from Aug.31, 2009. There are: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Kunming, Xiamen, Shenzhen, Tianjin, Dalian, Ningbo, Chengdu, Qingdao. From Jan25, 2010 will open new service to Wuhan, Chonqing and Nanjing. The flights are now opened for reservations, and the new service will provide greater convenience for passengers traveling between Taiwan and Mainland China. | Overview of TSA Secure Flight |
Secure Flight is a program developed to provide uniform watch list matching by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). The mission of the Secure Flight program is to enhance the security of domestic and international commercial air travel through the use of improved watch list matching to identify known and suspected terrorists. The Secure Flight program includes collection of additional passenger data during the reservation process. Specifically, you will be required to provide your full name (as it appears on your government-issued ID), date of birth, gender, and Redress Number (if available). In order to minimize undue delays during check-in, please ensure that the data you provide exactly matches the document you present to identify yourself at check-in. | Amend Mileage Expiration Date |
Effective from 01 January, 2010. A member’s Evergreen Club miles will expire after five years at the end of the equivalent month in which they were earned. For example, miles credited for flight date Jan.15, 2010 will expire on Jan.31, 2015. This includes the mileages transfer from co-brand credit card or other partners. |
