Following passengers’ positive response to self-print boarding passes in the Taiwan market, EVA Air and its regional subsidiary UNI Air have expanded availability of the service to 17 gateways around the world. Departing passengers who are not checking luggage can print their boarding passes and go directly to the EVA and UNI gates 30 minutes before scheduled take-off. Those who are checking luggage still need to go to the counter one hour before departure.
Passengers departing from the 17 designated cities can simply click on the EVA website, check in for their flights and print their boarding passes. Those traveling out of Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport who are eligible for VIP lounge access will find the details they need on the boarding passes they’ve printed. Cities where the EVA and UNI self-print boarding pass service is available are:
- Taiwan: Taipei (Taoyuan and Sungshan International Airports), Kaohsiung,
- Mailand China: Beijing, Hong Kong,
- North America: Toronto, Vancouver,
- Europe: Amsterdam, London, Vienna,
- Northeast Asia: Osaka, Komatsu, Nagoya, Tokyo (Narita), Sendai,
- Southeast Asia: Kuala Lumpur, Phnom Penh.
To comply with government regulations, passengers traveling to or from the US and Australia are required to complete standard check-in procedures. Additional details about the self-print boarding pass service are available on the EVA website at https://eservice.evaair.com/online/html/English/plan/eibsa119.asp
