EVA Air and Continental Airlines signed alliance agreement in August 1997 giving traveler easier connection to major U.S. destinations and creating opportunities for significant shared benefits. Through this alliance, EVA Air and Continental Airlines expand their flight route networks and provide efficient service for traveler. Under the major points of the alliance agreement, EVA Air and Continental Airlines linked networks to code-share, provide through check-in service, offer joint frequent flyer benefits, share VIP lounges, cooperate on marketing campaigns and coordinate schedules.
